If you listen to how Donald Trump talks, you will be inspired by how passionate he sounds. If you listen to what he says, you will laugh.
Donald Trump is fantastic at defending his social position by embarrassing his opponents. He is most known in popular media for his hilarious, disrespectful remarks made to his opponents.
“You’re a tough guy, Jeb.” He said, sarcastically. Jeb Bush was standing next to him on the stage asserting that he was second in the polls behind Trump. What did Trump do? He humiliated him.
Additionally, when Megyn Kelly jabbed at Trump for being a misogynist, Trump famously replied with, “Only Rosie O’Donnel” am I sexist towards.
Finally, when Hillary Clinton said we shouldn’t want someone with Donald Trump’s temperament in office, he replied, “Because you’d be in jail.”
What all these moments prove is that Donald Trump’s attention is switched permanently off of his own insecurities and projected onto others. There is nothing introspective at all about the man. Only outward focus. This makes him phenomenal at defending his social status; however, he obviously lacks traits associated with introspectiveness such as self-awareness and empathy.
